It was one rough week last week. My grandmother was admitted to the hospital for a GI virus and it all went downhill from there. I got extremely sick Monday night and then Izzy got sick Tuesday night. She is still recovering, but today (after a LONG 7 days) she was almost back to herself. It was SO wonderful to see her play. I wonder what Jesus delighting in His children looks like. I felt like I was so delighted today to see her so happy and playing. We had a doctor appointment today near the Children’s Museum in Grand Rapids so we decided to make a day of it. Izzy had SO much fun!
My trips downtown Grand Rapids used to be in my single life. It’s where I learned to take photos. I started doing street photography with a group of photo walkers. I frequented all the greatest clubs and restaurants. My trips to Grand Rapids now consist of the zoo and museum and the children’s hospital. It’s amazing how life changes.
